This is so great! The improv take-over group Improv Everywhere threw a surprise wedding reception for a random couple that walked out of the court house in NYC, having just gotten married in a rushed Courthouse ceremony. Although skeptical at first, who wouldn’t be!, they took them up on the offer and celebrated! The bride is so cute! She looks SO excited and happy at the end. What a great way to remember their wedding day, albeit completely UNPLANNED.

When designing wedding and event stationery, my main goal is to design an ensemble that really showcases, interprets and reflects a couple’s or company’s personality and identity. When it comes to weddings, not everyone wants pretty bows and lace, and that is why I love Off Beat Bride! There is a wedding out there for everyone! I am SO proud to say that Print Julep hit the ball out of the park at the Columbus Bridal Show at the Aladdin Shrine Center at Easton on August 24th. In fact, that’s why this is finally the first update since then! We got such a wonderful response from brides excited to finally see some fresh, unique invitation designs in Columbus, Ohio! Everyone appreciated the personal details, beautiful colors and textures and sometimes unusual combinations of design elements.
Although my assistant and I left with hoarse voices, it was a phenomenal day and I’m already planning for the next show on January 18th, 2009. I’d like to thank all of you who visited our booth last month! It really was such a pleasure talking with you all and I’m looking forward to meeting with you again and starting your ensembles!
